Ol Gaboli arranges transfers for our guests with our trusted transfer partners. Transfers can be from all major Kenyan cities, airports and areas e.g. Nairobi, Nanyuki, and the Mara. All transfer vehicles are air-conditioned, and are equipped for Kenya’s varied terrain, ensuring a comfortable journey.

From / to Nairobi: 450 USD each way (up to 6 pax)
From / to Nanyuki: 260 USD each way (up to 6 pax)
From / to the Aberdares/Nyeri: 350 USD each way (up to 6 pax)

Both Air Kenya and Safarilink have a 1hr long daily scheduled flight from Nairobi to Loisaba and Nanyuki. Flights are a similar price whilst Loisaba is closer to Ol Gaboli by 45 mins (1.5 hrs drive) with Nanyuki airport 2.25 hrs away. Both have almost an hour of very good wildlife viewing during the transfer to Ol Gaboli. We can arrange transfers from/to both airports.

From / to Loisaba: 260 USD each way up to 6 pax (inclusive of the 55 USD Loisaba access fee)
From / to Nanyuki Airport: 260 USD (6 pax)

Alternatively, we have an airstrip 5km from camp, from where private or chartered planes can land. There are a few private charter companies you can contact in and around Nairobi, including: Tropic Air, Boskovic Air Charters, East African Air Charters and Yellow Wings.

We regularly arrange for guests to hire traditional open-sided safari vehicles for their guided game drives around Ol Gaboli. The price is per car per day, with a max capacity of 6 passengers, and will be waiting for you at Ol Gaboli.

Ol Gaboli offers trusted 4x4 car hire through our car hire partner Chequered Flag. Their fleet includes the rugged Toyota Prado, ideal for off-road adventures and long-distance travel, and the versatile Nissan X-Trail, perfect for lighter exploration. Both will get you comfortably and capably from Nairobi or Nanyuki to Ol Gaboli. All vehicles come fully serviced, equipped for Kenya’s varied terrain, and available with optional driver  support.

Please note: Self-drive safari at Ol Gaboli is not permitted, you will have to use our vehicles once at the lodge.
